Find Your Local Age UK/Age Concern
In April 2010, Age Concern England and Help the Aged merged and a new charity, Age UK, was established. Over the past year, the local Age Concern Organisations and Groups in the Yorkshire & Humber area have gradually signed up to become 'Brand Partners' of Age UK, and changing the name of their Organisation to reflect this. There are now 19 local Age UK brand partners situated around the Yorkshire & Humber region. All of the organisations and groups who choose to partner Age UK, will remain independent charities in their own right.
It is hoped that by early 2012, the three small groups based in Bentham, Hellifield and Cleethorpes, will become a 'Friend' of Age UK but will still carry out the services they currently provide.
