Age UK York have been successfully working for older people in York for over forty years.
They provide a wide range of services, ranging from both personal and practical support. This includes Information and Advice, arranging for respite care and helping people after a stay in hospital. They can also arrange holidays and other leisure activities.

Volunteering at Age UK York
Our continued success depends on volunteers who ensure that we can provide a wide variety of services. Volunteers are actively involved in all aspects of our work. We interview all prospective volunteers and give full details of opportunties for volunteering. Completed application forms are required and references always requested. This will include a check with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). Volunteers are well supported and training is always provided.
