Following the merger of Age Concern England and Help the Aged, Age UK Selby District are pleased to now become a Brand Partner of the new national charity of Age UK.

Age UK Selby District is an independent organisation which provides support and services to meet the needs of older people living locally, within the District of Selby. Our aim is to reach as many older people who live within the town and across the rural areas as possible, to reduce social isolation. If you are in need of our support please contact us by the telephone or drop in and see us. Our shop and offices are in a central location in Selby town centre. Our office-based staff are very knowledgeable and will always make time to assist you to deal with your enquiry.

The organisation currently employs 19 members of staff and hosts approximately sixty volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in our charity shop, drive our mini buses, help with shopping services, or to befriend older people who may be lonely and isolated. If you have a few hours to spare each week, please ring us on 01757 704115.
